How long does chin filler last?

There are several types of dermal fillers that give varying results and may act differently based on an individual’s metabolism. Generally, hyaluronic acid fillers are the most popular option for chin augmentation — these products typically last from 8-12 months. Touch-ups are also necessary to maintain the best results!

How much does chin filler cost?

Chin fillers start at $650 per syringe. Depending on your facial structure, we may recommend anywhere from 1-3 syringes — the exact number of syringes needed for chin depends on each individual’s baseline anatomy. As with any injectable treatment, it is important to book a consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals.

Does chin filler treatment hurt?

You can expect little to no pain with chin fillers. Topical numbing is applied prior to the procedure. Additionally, the filler syringe itself often has lidocaine in it for extra numbing effects. As always, our providers will take extra measures to limit this pain!

What to expect

An in-person consultation with a cosmetic provider is always necessary before the procedure. This visit will give you the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your aesthetic goals, and learn about the pros and cons of chin fillers.

First, your provider with disinect the injection area and apply numbing cream.. They then will inject the dermal filler strategically into the soft tissues of the skin. During the treatment, you will recieve multiple injections in your chin and jawline. Afterwards, your provider will want you to return for a follow-up visit and recommend additional injections until desired results are achieved.

Chin filler procedures take 30-60 minutes to perform in office.

Results are immediate after receiving the injections. However, final results may differ after swelling completely goes down in 2 weeks.

What can I expect after chin fillers?

After the procedure, you may experience some minor swelling, tenderness, and bruising at the injection sites, like with any other procedure. Typically, these issues will resolve within a few days, up to 2 weeks.
